<p>Speed testing the theme helps give us some additional insights. Many school systems and educators are not in the business of ‘optimizing’ their pages, posts, even their images. However, they also do not have time for slow loading websites either!</p> <p>These results show what the Education Theme can do in different hosting environments. Note 10 seconds saved per page loaded can add up over the course of a school year, whether the teacher is loading the page, the student is loading the page, or even parents or administrators. 10 seconds x 50 pages per year x (20 students + 1 teacher + 1 administrator) = 11,000 seconds, 183 minutes, just over 3 hours. Multiply that by a school system of say 55 teachers and that’s a savings of 165 hours.</p> <blockquote><p>Sure that number is a little fluffy, but as the spouse of a fifth grade teacher, I can vouch for many more hours being spent on those pages by the teacher.
