Years back I setup a PayPal IPN (Instant Payment Notification) to confirm the receipt of a payment or donation on a website.
Fast forward 8 years, and we no longer use that process, which included a plugin and an IPN notification in our PayPal account. A quick google search found me a slightly outdated article or maybe an article for a related but not the same solution here.
I didn’t want to fix or repair, I just wanted to make it stop!
But PayPal’s interface and menus were different now. I have a business account not a personal account. And PayPal changes things all the time. Often for the good
Here’s a quick update of the steps I took and options I saw in March 2022. Maybe you will see the same or something different for your type of paypal account or when you go looking to shut down/change email notifications about this.
